Hotel, apartments coming to Toringdon
South Charlotte's Toringdon development near Ballantyne will soon be home to a hotel, retail space and apartments, according to a press release.

The office park is at Johnston and Community House roads and is nearly 520,000 square feet of space in six buildings.
American International and Trinity Capital Advisors, which bought the office park last year for $114 million, are marketing the office park for retail space and are adding a 4,000-square-foot fitness center as part of office tenant amenities. The fitness center will be free for all tenants and be adjacent to Toringdon's pocket park and urban green space.
A six-story, 120-room Hampton Inn is already under construction for space along North Community House Road and is scheduled to open in September.
There is also nearly 6 acres under contract adjacent to Toringdon that is earmarked for 245 apartments by real estate firm Proffitt Dixon Partners, according to a Charlotte Business Journal report.
Toringdon office park is surrounded by walkable amenities in nearby Toringdon Circle and Toringdon Market with Spanish restaurant Miro and Earth Fare in adjacent plazas.
